What sets Juvelink™ products apart from others on the market?

First, Juvelink’s research and development team have actually undergone special training to develop skincare formulations. All members of the team possess doctorate degrees ranging from pharmacy to medicine and have several years of clinical experience. It is through extensive experience and scientific knowledge that they are able to create working formulations. They are pioneers in the field and are not merely a company that replicates others. Second, they know the importance of using high quality ingredients. Juvelink’s research and development team spends enormous amounts of time and resources to formulate what they believe are the best anti-aging products on the market. They know that the source of the ingredients used in a supplement is just as important as the formula itself. Therefore, as with all of their products, rest assured that they have made every effort possible to provide you with only the highest quality ingredients.
Others will buy the least expensive ingredients available, while Juvelink actually seeks the best source. After all, effectiveness is linked to the quality of ingredients.

What are antioxidants?
Antioxidants are substances that are essential in protecting the cells found in your body. Environmental stressors, such as the sun (UV light), pollution, cigarette smoke, and ozone create free radicals throughout normal cellular metabolism. These by-products (free radicals) create danger for cells such as those of the skin, since they act to damage cellular components such as DNA and cell membranes. This can cause cellular damage or even cell death, leading to unhealthy and aged skin. The good news is that the body has a natural defense mechanism, antioxidants that act as scavengers of free radicals. The bad news is that the naturally occurring antioxidants in skin are reduced when exposed to environmental stressors such as sunlight. These substances must be replaced. The great news is that the Juvelink team has done extensive research to develop products to help replenish the body’s natural antioxidant supply from both inside the body with dietary supplements that target the dermis, and outside the body with topical antioxidants that target the epidermis. The Juvelink Wrinkle Formula™ contains a panel of antioxidants including alpha-lipoic acid, CoEnzyme Q10, ascorbyl palmitate (VitaminC), DMAE, and grape skin extract. These substances have been proven effective not only in protecting organs such as the heart and the brain, but taken orally, they also targeting the largest organ in our bodies, our skin, thereby reducing and reversing the signs of aging. The Juvelink research and development team has found that anti-aging treatment requires nurturing the skin from both inside and outside. Therefore, they formulated RX-12™, incorporating a lineup of antioxidants for topical application. Among these are copper, alpha-lipoic acid, hyaluronic acid, DMAE, and idebenone 1%. The strength of idebenone found in RX-12™ is 1%.

What is idebenone?
In its natural form, idebenone is an orange colored powder. Idebenone is a topical antioxidant being used in the practice of pharmacy for well over 50 years. Compounding pharmacists, Beverly Hills dermatologists, and plastic surgeons have known the benefits of topically applied idebenone for decades. In a recent study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (April 2005), idebenone 1% was found to be the most powerful antioxidant available for topical use. The study compared idebenone’s protective capacity against oxidative stress to that of tocopherol (vitamin E), kinetin (Kinerase®), CoEnzyme Q10 (Q10 Plus Wrinkle Control products by Nivea®), ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and lipoic acid (N.V. Perricone M.D. Cosmeceuticals®), showing that idebenone is the most potent and effective antioxidant. It has been proven effective in protecting the skin against key factors that cause fine lines and wrinkles such as ultraviolet radiation (sun damage), ozone, air pollution and cigarette smoke. Since idebenone is an expensive chemical, many manufacturers will use only a sprinkle of idebenone so that they can list it in there list of ingredients. Juvelink RX-12™ and Prevage™ (Prevage™ MD) use the concentration of idebenone that was used in the study, 1%. You owe it to yourself to use RX-12™, a product supported by scientific evidence not just marketing tactics. Idebenone 1% not only helps to correct skin damage that you may already have, but also helps protect your skin from upcoming damage.

What is DMAE?
DMAE is an antioxidant found in abundance in fish. When mixed with nutrients and other antioxidants and applied topically, it can improve the appearance of sagging skin by acting in the microscopic space under the skin where the nerves act on underlying muscle. Topically applied DMAE starts to work within minutes of application and its firming effect lasts for nearly 24 hours. Continuous use of DMAE results in firmer skin virtually wherever it’s applied. DMAE also boosts the effects of other antioxidants and results in increased smoothness and reduction of fine wrinkles. Those who use DMAE topically report a leaner look as their facial musculature improves. Taken orally, DMAE helps to stabilize cell membranes protecting them from free radical damage by helping cells to expel waste and hold on to valuable nutrients. DMAE also supports muscle under the skin leading to more firm appearance of the skin. DMAE is found in topical form in RX-12™ and in oral form in Juvelink’s Wrinkle Formula™.

Can RX-12™ be used in the eye area?
Yes. Although not marketed as an eye cream, it is an excellent eye formula and can be used around the eyes. When used around the eyes, great care must be taken not to get the cream into the eyes. Also, use must be discontinued at the first sign of redness, irritation, or pain.

How long will a jar of Cerasilk™ topical capsules last?
A 60 count jar of Cerasilk™ should last 60 days when used once daily. It has been designed so that a single capsule is enough to cover your face, neck and both hands.

How long do I need to use Peptidril HP™ to get results?
Applied twice a day, most people see some results within three to four weeks. For more noticeable results, eight to twelve weeks is required. For severely damaged skin or very old stretch marks, 12 to 16 weeks or longer is necessary for significant repair.

Can I use Peptidril HP™ on my face for fine lines and wrinkles?
Absolutely! Although Peptidril HP™ was originally designed to repair and prevent stretch marks and scars, many users have found that it also helps eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How do I use Juvelink’s topical formulations (Cerasilk™, RX-12™, and Petidril HP™)?
Juvelink’s topical formulations can be used with most other products such as cosmetics, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Apply the Juvelink™ product directly after cleansing, and then apply other products normally. Even though Juvelink™ anti-aging products help support healthy youthful skin, they are not a substitute for sunscreen. Use of a sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 15 is always advised.

How is Juvelink’s Hair, Skin & Nail Support System™ different than other hair, skin and nail vitamins?
The difference is that the Juvelink™ product is truly a system that includes vitamins, minerals, growth factors, antioxidants and amino acids that aid in the support of healthy hair, skin and nails. Most other products lack the all important amino acids and lack beneficial amounts of the other factors. Our formulation actually contains 2mg (that’s 2000mcg) of biotin. Our formulation also contains the amino acids L-Tyrosine Alanaine and L-Cysteine. These are the building blocks that our bodies use in the synthesis of proteins. Our hair, our skin, and our nails are made of proteins. L-Cysteine is an amino acid necessary for the formation of skin and keratin. Keratin is the principal constituent of our nails, both on our fingers and our toes.
Another difference is that the Juvelink Hair, Skin & Nail Support System™ is taken as three capsules only once daily. Some other formulations require you to take 4 capsules, three times daily. That’s 12 jumbo capsules spread out throughout the day.

How do I take Juvelink’s dietary supplements (Hair, Skin & Nail Support System™ and Wrinkle Formula™)?
These need to be taken only once daily with plenty of water and preferably with a meal. If you are taking any medicine, it is advised that you separate taking them by at least 2 hours. That is, take the medicine either two hours before, or two hours after taking the dietary supplements. If you are pregnant, nursing, or currently taking any medication consult with a physician prior to use. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
